Vendor Score Card​

RMS is meant to be among other things the inventory system of record. Because of this all inventory transactions including shipments and receipts are integrated into RMS. Although shipping and receiving data exists in RMS there is no good way to roll it up for analysis nor is there a good way to utilize it to update lead times when the actual lead times do not match what is setup in RMS. Another challenge with shipping and receiving data is it is often not linked together based on shipping and receiving exceptions such as not receiving against an ASN. This causes duplicate and disparity records in the RMS shipment tables and a nightmare for data science.

Enter CAI Vendor Score Card. It uses a complex algorithm to normalize shipment information and derive key metrics
about that shipment data. A bolt-on screen then allows the user to compare their actual shipment performance and
fill rates to their defined system lead times. If there is a large and persistent gap between estimates and actuals,
users can automatically update lead-times from within the Vendor Score Card Screen.

The CAI Vendor Score Card Plugin Consists of 1 RMS Bolt-on Screen, 1 Custom Batch, 1 Custom Package, and a Series of Custom Tables and Views.
